Those who know & use BTC, even if they don't truly understand it, would by now be asking why do we need fiat currency.
What is it that ties us to the old world?
Perhaps acceptance of new technology, means at some point we stop using or even discard the 'typewriter / 8-Track'
and just enjoy the new tech for what it can offer.
One of the biggest headaches is on boarding, converting fiat into BTC and cashing out from crypto back into fiat.
If these 2 issues were solved, simply by not doing them how would we survive?
As long as the local barista accepted BTC or similar probably OK.
For those that want or need fiat, because a particular merchant is no yet up with crypto the best choice maybe helping them cross the bridge. There is a big learning curve for new crypto users.
