For a decentralised system, the crypto world is very dependent on centralised mining operations.
If spare CPU or GPU cycles are available on 1000's if not millions of user computers, then the combined processing power surely exceeds the power of the current miners.
All we need is a non-malware way for the mass population to assist in moving mining ops to a decentralised base model.
ASUS seem to be taking that step.
