The estuary is on the edge of town, where the small boats belonging to the traditional fishermen in our area dock. The flow of fresh water comes from small canals that pass through residential areas.
Every day, the ships go out to sea to catch fish. In the evening, the ship returned to the estuary to bring the catch. Sometimes the catch is sold directly on site, not infrequently the hunted fish are transported to the shelter market.
The name of the estuary is Ulee Lheue, it is located on the edge of the Malacca Strait and not far from the Indian Ocean. This estuary is also one of the main land boundaries between Sumatra and the Malacca Strait.
