She is strong and healthy. Except breast feeding he now eats grass, hay and corn-barley flour.
This proves native breeds superiority against hybrid breeds. For this native sheep breed there is no or little intervention needed. Mother sheep gave birth by her self and raised it by her self. There was no vaccines nor antibiotics needed. No artificial feed. It's all natural. In this case I intervened only for couple of days to help her breast feed. This is her first lamb. I'm sure those two would find their way on their own. My help just speeded up the process a bit and prevented little lamb being hungry.
When it comes to behavior the little one doesn't feel comfortable around me. They are left alone and the lamb has minimal contact with humans. While big sheep are raised on milk bottles. I think that's the reason why lamb stops eating when I'm around and it is on constant caution.
