Chefchaouen is one of the most famous cities in the north-west of Morocco. It is located on a group of mountains called the Rif Mountains. It is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the southern province of Ouzan and Taounate, to the east by the province of Al Hoceima, Al-Arash and Tetouan regions.
