Is Etherum Mining still Profitable? - The answer isn't that easy, isn't it? I can't give you the answer yes or no, because it depends on many different factors, so I can only tell you these factors and you have to decide at your own.

  • Where do you live? How much does electricity cost in your country?
  • Ether is increasing simultaneously with bitcoin, but it will also decrease as btc will do at some point. And then?
  • How much you're willing to spend?
  • Remember the block difficulty will also increase rapidly. So IF difficulty doubles again in another two months, price will have to change to double to maintain that 2 month target!
  • You're planning to buy new mining hardware? You did calculate the amount you will get after a month/year? - Be careful, as I said before there are many factors that can lower possibly lower that amount.

My advice is: Sit down and earn as long as you can if you're already running a good mining rig, if don't you can still buy a great mining rig and mine OTHER cryptocurrencies. Find a new currency and try out new things, Eth is getting old! Simply compare Altcoins on websites such as coinchoose. Syscoin is currently the best altcoin to mine in my opinion.
