The Need To Be Productive
Listening to music has become a must for me when I'm working, but I have come to find out it slows me down when working on a project, typing content, working on something or designing a website. Over time I have come to find out that the little minutes I used to change from one piece of music to the other in my playlist if all added together in an 8-hour work could come up to an hour, that is 1/8th percentage of the time that is suppose to be used for a productive career, go with changing music from one to the other.
No Headphones
So, when I am working these days, I have no headphones, I dont take headphones when working, which means no music, which means no distractions, I work full blast like that without any obstruction and this has helped a lot of times.
No Social Media
Another this is not to open social media accounts, Facebook and tiktok especially, if I dare say I am watching just one Facebook reel or TikTok video before I know it an hour is gone and I have lost a very chunk of my productive time, so, rule number 2, never open your social media account when working.
You might say I should switch off my phone, but no, I am not, over time I have come to know that whenever people close to me notice my phone is off, instead of them thinking, oh! He might be busy or something, what they'll start doing is panicking if anything has gone wrong because they know I can't stay without my phone, no teenager stays without his or her phone. So, switching off the phone is a capital no.
A Goal Plan
Another method of being focused and productive is to have a goal plan, what I want to achieve at that productive time, like one has to type down content, the next hour to watch a tutorial video and so on that do keep me on my edge to deliver on time without any hindrance and helps to keep on at it and make each time count.
