MY WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

I had to wait until the weekend.

This is how it started. After impacting lives and discipling young souls some years ago, I watched every year as they graduated into the next level into the university.
Around 2020, it dawned on me that it was time for me to also graduate with them to that same level. So I started praying for clear direction, and my eyes were opened to see where my interest and space for influencing the world lay.

I bought the JAMB form, wrote the exams, and in 2021, I was offered admission into the university.

In my first year, it dawned on me that I had to keep up with my work and other vital responsibilities. I had to pray to God for wisdom and grace to carry everything along.

With the support of God, and through the advice, guidance, and prayers of my Spiritual Father, good friends, other mentors, colleagues, loved ones, and family, I stand today as I am.

But most importantly: while in the system, God honoured me by bringing lives for me to shepherd under Him.
I had the opportunity to lead men in different capacities, such as:

  1. Director of Academics (DOA)for my level and unit — Year 1
  2. Class Representative— Year 2 till date
  3. Family Head— Year 4
  4. SA to the Departmental President on Religious Matters— Year 4

Standing on those platforms and being given that influence, God helped me to contribute my quota, impact lives, and be a blessing to those under and around me.

Today, I stand again to say: ABBA, THANK YOU.
And to you who have contributed to this life, I say: MAY YOU NEVER BE STRANGLED WHEN YOU NEED HELP FROM ME.

Last month - my department approved a seminar topic to write on:
THE CORONATION RITUALS FOR THE ASCENSION TO IFIM UBOON NKWOT ETOK CLAN, INI LGA.

This help me to go back to my root in Ikot Udom village to investigate into the topic and give recommendations on matters that as to do with the institution of Ete-idung in my community where my Incumbent Village Head Chief (Engr) Monday Jimmy Akpan, Akpakapn XVII of Nkwot Etok, and Mr.Edikan Effiong Jonah were major sources to get to the apex of the work.

On 14 of September, I had my final exams as an undergraduate and on 15 I had my seminar defense and presentation.
