It has always been a pleasure to be able to move freely, from one distination to another and this year most importantly last year has paved a way to get to the upper ring of the ladder. Just as Jack thought through the opportunities before him his phone began ringing and looking a the phone it was Jordan, Jack's younger brother who has been calling for two days now. Just two years ago, the brothers have been living together for so long with less means than they imagined living their city to the bigger city. At least life is smiling back at them.
Apparently, Jordan was the one that encouraged Jack to fill in for the job position he holds today. Going through life scrimping and scrounging only to come out on top even though it's just the beginning of the exceeding drive that is expected. Jordan calls again but jack doesn't answer the call.
It's been three months that Jack spoke to Jordan last which is still funny and annoying to Jordan because he has no idea why jack hasn't taken the time to call him back. "Why haven't I thought of this for so long," Jordan thought to himself as he stands to pick the keys to the Peugeot parked in the garage. The thought of Jack not speaking to him was too much as he had no one else to talk to and that goes the same for Jack. They both have themselves or rather they both had themselves since that weigh balance has tilts to one side. Reaching for the keys Jordan walks to the garage putting the key in ignition he turns on the engine and sits for a while for the garage gate to open completely and there was already a red Volkswagen obstructing his movement but you wouldn't guess who it was sitting on the bonnet, yes, Jack.
Jack looking Sharp and dap waved at his brother who at first didn't recognize the person sorted because he had so much worries about his brother and as he got out to scold who obstructed the road, he was given a hug that had the brothers holding themselves for the next two minutes. At first it was annoying that full grown men embrace themselves for so long like a guy and his love but truly the brothers had thick skin for each other and really needed the support of one another.
Let's go in Jordan whispers into Jack's ear but jack says no that let them go out.
A sunny day it was as Jordan has to rush back in to get his shades and close the garage gate, the brothers drove through town and finally at a distination that had two seperate buildings in the same compound. Happy birthday Jordan, this is our new house, the one in the left belongs to you and the other one belongs to me.
It was a surprise to Jordan because he never saw this coming but the brothers have always got each other's back and now it feels so certain.
