Bitcoin Pizza Tag
Leute es ist wieder soweit! Bitcoin Pizza Tag! Ein jährlich gefeiertes Ereignis, das am 22. Mai stattfindet und an einen historischen Moment in der Geschichte von Bitcoin erinnert. Am 22. Mai 2010 kaufte ein Entwickler namens Laszlo Hanyecz zwei Pizzen für 10.000 Bitcoins. Heute wären die mehr als 250 Mio Dollar wert. Damals jedoch war Bitcoin kaum anderthalb Jahre alt und hatte noch keinen etablierten Wert. Es war die erste richtige Kauftransaktion für die Kryptowährung. Übrigens hier könnt ihr den Glücklichen sehen, der damals 2010 diese Bitcoins für die Pizzen bekommen hat. Gehalten hat er sie allerdings nicht sondern damals für Reisen ausgegeben (Quelle).
Ich habe mir anlässlich des Jubiläums übrigens keine Pizzen für Bitcoin sondern lieber Bitcoin im Wert von zwei Pizzen gekauft. 🍕😋

Guys it's that time again! Bitcoin Pizza Day! An annually celebrated event that takes place on May 22 and commemorates a historic moment in Bitcoin history. On May 22, 2010, a developer named Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins. Today, they would be worth more than $250 million. At the time, Bitcoin was barely a year and a half old and had no established value. It was the first real life transaction for the cryptocurrency. By the way, here you can see the lucky guy who received those Bitcoin back in 2010 though he didn’t HODLed them but spent them for traveling (Source).
On the occasion of the anniversary, however, I did not buy any pizzas for Bitcoin, but rather Bitcoin worth two pizzas. 😋🍕
