today was all traffic, gray skies, and office staircases.
The only trails I hit were taillights in a jam, and my “hike” was a few loops around the office. I’d call it “urban survival cardio.” Still, even in the mess of rain and meetings, there was beauty, like a quiet sunrise behind a church spire or the lonely glow of headlights stretching into the night.
It wasn’t glamorous, but it was real. Not every day is about big moves, some days are just about staying in motion, even if it’s just between the desk and the coffee machine.
Tomorrow’s another shot. Today? Still counts.
