Some days are built for balance. Today was one of them. With social commitments in the evening (that honestly turned out to be a blast), I had just enough time to sneak in a single walk. So I made it count: 6 kilometers instead of the usual 5.
There’s something satisfying about a stretch of road that blends calm water, gravel underfoot, and that thick green that only May can deliver. The sun was playing its dramatic part, bouncing off the canal and punching through clouds like it was auditioning for a climate drama.
Photos barely capture the vibe — the crunch of the path, the brush of breeze through leaves, the way your own thoughts quiet down with each step. It wasn’t long, but it was full. A mini reset before an evening of laughter and clinking glasses.
Moral of the day? When time is tight, trade quantity for quality. One good walk beats three rushed ones.
