You know it’s an office day when your two primary views are either the glowing keyboard or the car windshield. But even on days like these, there’s always a way to find some progress.
Traffic today was its usual moody self, which was honestly matched perfectly by the rain. I couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures, there’s something oddly therapeutic about droplets on glass and overcast skies. They remind me that sometimes, slowing down is okay.
During lunch, I braved the cold for a quick 2km walk. It wasn’t much, just enough to get the blood flowing, but between that and my office coffee machine runs, I crossed 5k steps. That’s far from fitness heroics, but it’s miles better than my worst-case scenario of 500 steps in a chair-bound day.
And the traffic wasn’t wasted either. I got lost in a great podcast about big blockchain ideas and future crypto trends, perfect brain fuel for when you’re sitting still.
