I went to buy some groceries in the morning. Here you'll see what I shot along the way.
The ambient light was pretty low, the overall atmosphere gloomy, and I wasn't in the mood for photography when I stepped out of the house. I changed my attitude when I noticed the circular advert for Heineken beer. You can see that shiny, coin-like thing in this photograph. The contrast between the illuminated advert and the surrounding gloom was pretty photogenic, so I felt inspired enough to pull the camera out of the bag and do something. As many times before, once the first shot was taken ...
... the walk turned into a shooting spree. When seen through the camera, my sleepy, cloudy hometown looked like some cool, exciting place with a great and memorable atmosphere. I was in the harbor when this photograph was taken.
This tree was photographed in the same area. I like the winter look of deciduous trees. With the foliage gone, the intricate structure made of branches and twigs is completely visible - and it looks great.
The smallest twigs were decorated with tiny H2O jewels brought by the recent rain.
The tree grew at the edge of a very unremarkable piece of parking lot.
These three piles of pallets looked like an interesting piece of contemporary art.
Here you can see some apartments buildings across the inlet. They looked surprisingly interesting in this weather. On a sunny day, these buildings look boring and out of place.
A gang of seagulls ...
... was enjoying the gloomy Wednesday on the traditional wooden boat.
And that's it. I have no more photographs to show, so this walk ends here.
AS ALWAYS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.
