With the days getting warmer ... and even hot around noon ... the biodiversity is exploding in many forms and colors ... life is sprouting and blooming ... crawling, flying and buzzing all around my garden and throughout the whole neighborhood ...
... and this seasonal abundance ...
... is reflected also inside the house.
Lovely little scorpions are passing through the vast, flat landscapes on the walls.
Interesting centipeds ...
... are coming out of the bathtub hole ...
... snails are crawling across my windows, this one has the Pill - bug on its back... last night I woke up thirsty ... went to the kitchen ... and there ...
... was this huge slug ... looked a bit like some slimy space invader from the old B - movies :D
Yap ... a lot of creepy stuff feels at home here under my roof ... this is the same centipede as before, but edited through Photoshop to look more artsy ... but not all the visitors are like that ...
Some of them are pretty lovely ... this is the Libythea celtis butterfly ... beautiful example of the fallen leaf type of camouflage. Somehow ended up in my house a few days ago. I took this shot and then I showed him the way out.
I found this elegant little moth on the bathroom window ... he climbed on my finger and I brought him out. Yes, these are some nice insects, aesthetically pleasing to most humans ... but to be honest :) ...
... most of my unofficial pets ...
... are pretty creepy.
But there is some strange beauty about them ...
... I find them too interesting to be really repulsive.
This species looks very otherworldly and artsy ... in my opinion ...
... and I like the way this scorpion enhances the minimalist composition, caught between the shadow and the light. And now ...
... with the last look ...
... at the artsy centipede ... is time to end the post ... as always on HIVE, all the photographs and Photoshop edits, are my work ... THE END.
