Tourici are dedicated to the tour - one of the oldest revered among the Slavs of animals with magical powers! On the tour the union of Veles and Perun is embodied in the glory and prosperity of the Slav race. The holiday is closed by winter Christmas trees. The 12th day of Christmas is the 12th of the year. Slavs saw in the holiday of the Tour the oldest rite of youthful initiations in men, when, incarnating as a wolf, the young man had to show hunting abilities and military courage and to fill up his first round!
