Wise people say that taking a hobby seriously can make someone become an expert. I responded to this advice with both confidence and doubt. On the one hand, I fully believe in those wise words, but at the same time, especially if the word "seriously" is used, it makes me not sure at all.
Of course, this has to do with my ability. Still, depending on mood is my biggest enemy so far, so many things are delayed after I start them. The impact is that nothing is finished at all. I am very aware of this bad habit. That's why, when the mood at the beginning of the year is still soaring, I try to continue to hone my drawing skills, and I am quite grateful to be able to do it without having to be in an art studio.
This morning, for example, I took the time to draw on the digital canvas of my gadget screen, while drinking coffee at my favorite coffee shop in Banda Aceh. And the result is like what you see here. I titled the work resulting from my practice today as; Going Home. Here I attach some steps of my work process.
