마당 한켠에 나무 한그루가 있는데 이사 온 첫해는 꽃도 피지 않고 열매도 맺지 않았습니다. 뭐.. 그럴 수 있지만, 그래도 마당에 심어진 다른 나무들은 감나무도 있고, 수국과 국화꽃도 있고, 단풍나무도 있어서 가을 낙엽조차 예뻤습니다. 그런데 그 이듬해 봄에 하얀색 잎사귀처럼 보이는 꽃이 피기 시작했습니다. 사진찍어서 검색을 해보니 산딸나무였더라구요. 나무

만장굴
제주 여행으로 왔을 때 방문한 적이 있었지만, 24년에 제주에 온 이후로 안전상의 이유로 만장굴 관광이 중단이 되었었습니다. 그리고 2년 5개월만에 최근에 다시 개장을 하였는데요. 이렇게 습하고 더운날은 동굴만한 광광지가 없는 것 같습니다. 동굴 입구를 향하는 계단에 들어서자마자 냉기가 온몸을 불어오는데 정말 오길 잘했다 하는 생각을 들게 합니다. 만장굴 관람료가

산림청에서 지원하는 나눔숲 지원사업이라고 있습니다. 2년 연속 지원을 했지만 탈락이 되었었습니다. 그리고 서귀포시청에서 한번만 더 신청하자고 해서 서류를 준비하고 있습니다. 작년에 지원해서 선정되어 올해 나눔숲을 조성한 사회복지기관을 방문했습니다. 총사업비 1억원을 지원받았다고 하는데... 공간이 넓지도 않은데... 여길 조성하는데 1억원이나 들었다구요? 함께

제주맛집 - 돌담통닭

동화마을
제주에서 최근 몇년 사이에 뜨고 있는 관광지 중에 동화마을이라고 있습니다. 회사에서 교회에서 여러번 간 적은 있었는데, 항상 날씨가 비가 내려서 예쁘다던 정원은 둘러보지 못하고 입구에 있는 카페만 갔다가 나오곤 했었습니다. 이 곳을 오늘은 가족들과 함께 다녀왔었는데요. 원래는 목적지는 다른 곳이었는데 지나가는 길이어서 계획과 다르게 동화마을로 들어갔습니다.
