Greetings Hiveans!
Morden Park in South London is a vast green space with multiple changes in elevation and terrain, a small period mansion, a modern sports centre and most importantly for us, a flying field!
Views of estates and a garden centre to the south of the park.
Views of a mosque to the north of the park.
Morden is the end of the northern line of the underground network, hence the train yard here. I wasn't able to get good shots from this take off location without losing line of sight but I plan to go back to a different park in the area for a closer look.
As the sun was setting, the mosque turned a light orange.
The flying area from above, bordered on all sides by trees. There are no information boards to let the public know there is one but no one has batted an eyelid in all my visits there.
