Hello my friends! Today is a cloudy Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro. Are you all right? I hope so. Basically I'm going to tell you how I met photographer Gabriel Klein and how we made these photos.
Olá meus amigos! Hoje é uma terça-feira nublada no Rio de Janeiro. Vocês estão bem? Eu espero que sim. Basicamente vou contar como conheci o fotógrafo Gabriel Klein e como fizemos essas fotos.

Well I was starting to create content over longboard. And perhaps the best photographer at the time of Rio de Janeiro doing longboard photos was Gabriel Klein. He was already photographing some guys I knew. I followed him on instagram but I hadn't talked to him yet. On a beautiful day I was going for a day of skateboarding in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, when suddenly Gabriel Klein climbs on the same bus I was on.
Bom eu estava começando a criar conteúdo sobre longboard. E talvez o melhor fotógrafo no momento do Rio de Janeiro fazendo fotos de longboard era Gabriel Klein. Ele já fotografava uns caras que eu conhecia. Eu o segui pelo instagram mas eu ainda não havia conversado com ele. Em um belo dia eu estava indo para um dia de skate na Zona Sul do Rio de Janeiro, quando de repente Gabriel Klein sobe no mesmo ônibus em que eu estava.

Interestingly, he decided to sit next to me. So I decided to start talking to him. We started talking about longboard and friendships in common, and still inside the bus we set a session 1 week later.
Curiosamente ele resolveu por sentar ao meu lado. Então decidi começar a conversar com ele. Começamos a falar sobre longboard e amizades em comum, e ainda dentro do ônibus marcamos uma sessão 1 semana depois.

In the first session we photographed gamboa graffiti and the 8-step stair. After that we met in many sessions. We have a lot of pictures and stories to tell. The Usina Drop coming back from the party drunk without helmet or gloves. Drop at night in Sumaré. Fashion events. Skate events. Parties. Skateboarding is about that. Attitude. Friendship. I really hope you enjoy the images.
Na primeira sessão fotografamos o graffiti da Gamboa e a escadaria de 8 passos. Depois disso nos encontramos em muitas sessões. Temos várias fotos e histórias para contar. Usina Drop voltando da festa bêbado sem capacete ou luvas. Drop de noite no Sumaré. Eventos de moda. Eventos de Skate. Festas. Skate é sobre isso. Atitude. Amizade.
