I absolutely love this flower! I had never seen it before I bought my house a year ago and I'm in love! After doing some research, I found it is called Limonium perezii or Perez's sea lavendar...

Here is a picture I took from my garden using a Samsung Note 10+:

This is when it's in full bloom. I love it! Here's why... many of my flowers will die after a couple weeks-it's the circle of life, really... but not this flower! This one blooms for months!!!

Here's is a pic of blossoms that haven't opened yet:

And here's one of blossoms that finally lost their color 1 year later:

I can still see the deep purple in the dead blooms... and they didn't really start to lose their color until the new blossoms came in. My mother-in-law calls them an "ever bloom" because they are in full color all year long. It's now one of my favorite flowers!
