If I gave you an unlimited credit card, but you can only use it for 10 minutes, what would you buy?
This is difficult on logical levels, funny enough. It would be easy to say a house, which would take at least 24 hours of escrow, if not more (I've sold a house and closed escrow in 72 hours before), so that's out. My initial reaction was to buy $1B worth of bitcoin, but then there is a 10 minute block and it takes time for the credit card to be accepted, as well as price limits on what companies will allow you to spend in a moment, so that would backfire. I was thinking a yacht, but that would take longer than 10 minutes. If Elon Musk can sell $1B in TSLA in the matter of a day, I suppose I could buy millions of dollars worth of stock across the S&P 500 without causing too much of a stir within 10 minutes.
The hardest part is the 10 minutes and the funds being on a credit card...lol...I'm too logical. So here we go, if I had 10 minutes to buy whatever I wanted, I would buy the most expensive things I could find where I knew the transaction would close and I could sell those things after the 10 minutes were up and the transaction was cleared. But let's get into the crux of the question. It's really, what would you buy if you had no limitations...
I've always wanted a house near a lake with lakefront property where the lake was swimmable and the weather was very nice throughout the year, having all 4 seasons-some snow for several days in the winter, rain throughout the year, but not all the time, and summers that were slightly too warm to want to be outside, but hot enough that while sitting in the shade you're still comfortable. If I could buy that in 10 minutes, I would. I'd also buy a boat and a contract for boat maintenance where everything was included/covered, including fuel costs. I'd also buy a reliable plane that had a similar feature-all maintenance and fuel costs built in and have a landing strip near my house so I could leave from home into the wild blue yonder whenever it pleased me. I'd also buy all the best scuba gear, a hang glider, paraglider, and amazing camera equipment (I make YouTube videos...and I enjoy it http://www.WatchBobOnYouTube.com ). I'd also prepay a reliable contractor to build a recording studio on my property, underground for great sound deadening. I'd get a new car and a new truck, letting my wife get her pick of whatever she wanted, too. I guess that'd cover it...Could I get all that in 10 minutes? maybe not. I'd have to hire some people to help me spend it lol
