I am really late getting this post out so I will jump right into it.

Universal Basic Income. Some call it communism while others (like myself) see it as an inevitable system some countries and groups of people will need to adopt as automation, water wars, wars, land disputes, dictatorships, and climate change cause displacement of people from their homes and jobs. In an ideal world, governments would be in charge of dispersing the funds and overseeing the UBI programs, but let's be honest, would you trust your government to oversee the program? I know I would not, especially with the current path my country is on. Also, how would refugees factor into the system? If immigration is a hot button issue now in your country just imagine the fight if UBI was put into place. Then you factor in the inevitable collapse of countries and their currencies due to crazy dictators and climate changes. Imagine the nightmare of dealing with an angry population in a failed state with no money and no government support. These are just a few examples of the problems facing UBI adoption, and will probably keep the idea from ever being put into a working system in most of the world.

If UBI adoption is going to be problematic for countries/governments, then how do we go about getting a few off the ground? Cryptocurrency, of course. Mannabase (https://www.mannabase.com/?ref=bf3027e222 ) is the only crypto UBI I know to exist at present, but it is a good start. Prove you are human with your cell phone - not home or Voip phone number - and collect a small amount every week. Easy. No effort involved besides signing up. But why stop there and why limit crypto UBIs to a narrow definition of "no effort involved" after proving you are human with an internet connection? Let me expand it.

Consider crypto faucets as an UBI. I use nine daily. Ten minutes of claiming per day and I make a few US dollars in various crypto coins per week. No, I can not live on that but people in some countries would be thrilled with the crypto rewards and could indeed live on the proceeds from a few minutes of typing words each day and a half hour of internet access. UBI but government free under my expanded definition. As for me, I let my earnings build up and stash them in my wallets as free money. The coins are increasing in value so win win for me. Ask me which faucets I use if you are interested. Most suck but the ones I use are easy and pay out quickly.

Tomorrow I will finish up on my expanded UBI ideas.
