20 CL Packs Opening + Giveaway #88

Greetings my fellow Splinterlandians. As of the time of writing, there is another 1.5 hours till the end of season and I am in a pretty decent headspace. My main is sitting in Champs 2 and I have turned AM off to avoid dropping any rating. I have 12 Champs daily chests still to open and looking at 62 Champs season chests. I also just joined at Tier 3 guild and brawling in Gold Wild, which is totally out of my comfort zone, but I think that is ok for a first timer. All up, feeling pretty good about how my main is at the moment.

So I am in a pretty light mood for this pack opening. And the laundry decides to go ding and interrupt my train of thought as I type this. I must admit, this was a pretty good opening and you will find out why very soon. Let start with the Commons, sitting at 70% of the cards opened and with only 3 GFs. That might seem pretty poor, but of the 3 GFs, one is a GF Scavo Hireling and the other is the GF Chaos Agent, 2 of the most expensive GF commons, excluding GF Deeplurker and each card is worth a CL pack each. Rares were also pretty good 😊. Quite a few of them I am still needing to max out and 2 GFs also dropped! A GF Life Sapper and a GF Kelya!!!! I was just thinking to myself that it’s been a while since a GF Keyla dropped for me, and there she was. Can it get better? Sort of with another 6 Epics including a Wave Brood. At this stage, I am close to breakeven with my opening and I still had 2 Legendaries to flip over. First was a Fungus Fiend which is great, but AM doesn’t play them that much, so they are pretty much just rental cards for me. The second one? Turned out to be a Summoner, Legendary Summoner Immortalis! Which I not too long ago spent $115 to max out and he decides to pop up. If you are playing in Diamond League and above, Immortalis is a must have.

With such a good opening, it was good that the card to giveaway was a pretty good one too. Only 1 card this time around and that’s the Supply Runner, another great Neutral card. This was a more popular guess in the past, but this time only one person guessed it and it’s @hatdogsensei!! Congrats on getting the guess correct.
