Hey there, ya little steemers!
I've been listening to podcasts through this app called Pocket Casts for the last year. Since I haven't seen any posts mentioning it, and I'm not sure if many people know about it, I figured it was worth sharing here.
Pocket Casts is an extremely useful podcast player. It lets me sweep everywhere to find podcasts that are my style (whether the podcast is hosted through iTunes or somewhere else, this thing does a good job of finding it). It also lets me play podcasts at faster speeds to save time (which my brain was surprisingly able to adapt to over a period of about a week), cuts out dead air, and lines up a queue for me to play episodes from a bunch of different podcasts in whichever order I'd like.
Depending on the phone you have, it costs between US $4-$6. I think it's worth it; the UI has been much easier for me to navigate then any other podcast app I've used, and it makes long boring car rides a lot easier to manage. If you're looking for a podcast app with a little more flair to it, I'd recommend you give this one a shot.
Happy listening out there!
