Olena gave her the same warning. She told her to stop listening to smart men, and instead trust her own instincts. I think a large part of Dany's motivation, is her insecurity and trying to prove she isn't her father. It's going to be her downfall. She isn't a strong leader on her own. This past episode, she wanted to ride out and use the dragons to destroy the iron fleet. She was talked out of it, and look what happened. I agree that I think she won't win. I think she will realize this too and sacrifice herself for the greater good.
