Honestly I have been playing Steem Hop for so long now that my eyes are literally starting to hurt, like if you watch this clip you will see I was on http://steemhop.org and I just kept going and going, I started with 173 coins at the top right and my top score was 93 which I have been trying to beat for days, I am controlling that little white block that looks like a milk carton with a red stripe and the game is just endless hopping over roads and rivers and train tracks, the whole map is this orange desert with rocks and green trees and then you have grey roads with purple and red cars flying, and blue water with brown logs floating, and brown train tracks with purple trains and barriers, it looks so simple but bro it is so addictive and annoying at the same time.
In this first run you can see I started at like 0 or -1 and I quickly went to 1, 2, then I jumped to 10, 13, 18, 23 and I was feeling myself because I was collecting coins and dodging everything, my coins went from 173 to 174 to 175 to 176, you can see the other little characters walking on the tracks like that black hair guy in red pants, I was hopping over the logs on the water and then crossing the road with the purple cars, but then at score 23 I got hit by the big purple train that was coming on the tracks, the train had like light purple carriages and I tried to squeeze through the barriers and I got smashed, then that big orange 3D text STEEM HOP popped on the blue background which means game over, that screen always makes me rage because I was so close to beating my top 93.
After that I restarted again and again, you can see the score went back to 0 and then -2, -1, 1, 2, 9, then I died again on the water because I missed a log and drowned, my character just fell in the blue water and disappeared, then again STEEM HOP screen came, I restarted again at 0 and went to 2, 5, 10, 11, 12 and died again at 12 because the train barriers closed on me, I swear those red and white barriers with the black warning signs are the worst because they close so fast and if you are in the middle you are dead, my coins were now at 177, 178 and I was still stuck, you can see at the bottom there is the little blue character button and the music and sound buttons on the right side, and the browser shows http://steemhop.org at the bottom, I was literally playing at 00:49 and I didn't even realize I had been playing for like an hour straight just trying to beat 93.
That's why I think I need to stop and go back to my lifestyle content as soon as possible because this game is taking over my whole screen time, I love how simple it is, no download just open the website and hop, and the song playing in the background was Adekunle Gold Party No Dey Stop which made me even more hyped, you can see in the control center my battery was at 18% and MTNNG 5G, I was still playing even with low battery, but yeah at this point I think I am done with Steem Hop for now, I have been grinding it for so long trying to beat my top 93 and I keep dying at 10, 12, 23, it is fun but I miss doing my lifestyle content, like vlogging and talking about real life, so after this last run where I died at 12 again with 178 coins I think I will uninstall or just close the tab and go back to what I love doing.
