I love everything about the technical idea of Steemit. That begin said, I also hate that there is an imbalance of content here. Don't get me wrong, I understand that it's the nature of the beast, but I encourage support for the platform as a great way to host a blog without selling yourself out.

I have used all the popular blogging platforms independently, and as mixed-bag implementations, and I can honestly say that it's all a bit too much for what I want and what I expect to deliver to my readers. Here, it's a very simple to see, simple to deliver platform that has the added benefit of profiting from the exchange of ideas without muddying the water with questionable ad campaigning. If you're getting likes, you're making money.

Now, there are some more dynamics involved, and certainly there may be some economic change involved in all of this, but the simple point remains that without the potential source of walking around money, Steemit is still a really great information free-exchange platform worthy of more than just people talking about how it's a great potential walking-around money-maker.

Personally, because it wouldn't be my blog if I didn't tangent, I plan to throw everything on here that crosses my mind with no consideration for timing or category because I think this is a great place to do it. Hopefully, some of you find my ramblings useful or at least entertaining--I still like walking-around money, too.
