From what I've gathered this strain is more commonly known as Lemonberry. My searches through the web for Blue Lemonade's history came up with very little information. So I went to the Green Rhino website where i purchased this strain and their description lead me to find that Lemonberry seems to have the same description as what they're selling as Blue Lemonade.
Bred by Fusion Seeds from a cross between Dabney Blue and Lemon Thai, this strain is slightly sativa leaning at a 60/40 ratio. Lots of people describe the taste like blueberry muffins which stems from its parent Blue Dabney which is a part of DJ Short's Blueberry line, this line is renowned for this same blueberry muffin taste.
Another strain i acquired from the Green Rhino out of Vancouver. This strain is priced at $10 per gram but was on sale for $6 per gram plus shipping and tax. A couple more from the Green Rhino and I'll switch it up back to Whistler Medical.
The THC range is 18-22% and looks like CBD is pretty low at CBD 0.1%.
The appearance of this strain is very appealing to me as far as sativas hybrids go. A lighter green bud is accompanied by creamy orange pistols and a frosted coverage of trichomes. A little less than medium density for cannabis and a bit more on the fluffy side rather than firm. The appearance and structure leans more to a sativa in my opinion.
As I open the container the smell is like fresh radish sprouts or even freshly picked radish then mix that with a lemon citrus scent. Busting up the bud gives off a deep black licorice smell mixed with some lemon citrus and just a hint of skunk in there.
The taste is a bit of grapefruit or tangerine citrus that leads into waffles with syrup. I'm thinking this waffles with syrup taste that I'm getting is what others are describing as the blueberry muffin from the Blue Dabney. Fusion Seeds did a nice job on the flavor combo, although from the sounds of it DJ short gave them a good start.
The effects of this strain are said to be a pleasant cerebral buzz that spurs bouts of creativity as well as the giggle's. This strain i noticed does learn a bit toward the head high as hinted at in most the descriptions, easy to get side tracked and I did have a bit of the giggles.
