This suggestion deal mainly with lyric display and customization. Musicx offer lyrics and most music players do too. It's uniqueness will register with how the lyrics are presented. A smarter interface and smarter use for a start.
Floating lyrics.
A persistent lyric display, with a toggle however to put it off or on. After minimizing the player, lyrics can still be read, with the lyric floating over the screen.
The floating panel should be adjustable and resizable. Users will be able to set the panel to display in such a way that it doesn't obstruct their view, perhaps a transparent background is also a valid option. So that other activities can go on while the lyrics are being read off the screen in total convenience.
lyrics share
This suggestion has to do with being able to share lyric files with other users. I stumbled on a folder named musicx. I opened the folder and found a sub folder named lyrics.
And in there I found files in the title of my some of my song, Which after I checked showed lyrics when I use musicx.
That means after sourcing lyrics they are saved some where, if the player can access them, I believe it can also be made to rip and share them.
With this I thought it would be awesome if users can share lyrics from the musicx player. The music player on the receiving end would automatically put the shared file in the folder where it reads from and in a supported format.
There are many reasons why people would want to share lyrics.
