Life can be difficult at times. It is part of it and it's inevitable. Sometimes they keep coming, one stuggle after another, sucking up your strength and positivity. It's like the heavy rain that keeps on pouring, dampens your spirit, drowns you in fear, and leaves you grasping for hope.

All of us have burdens to carry that weigh us down. There are situation in life that make us question why life is too hard on me? Why me? What have I done wrong to deserve such heavy loads on my shoulder?

The past days, I struggled a l̶o̶t̶ little. To mention I had to deal with my children getting sick sequentiantially. I could remember how many times I went to the pediatrician for the past month til the 1st week of this month. One of my children is asthmatic. When he had an asthma attack one night, that's when I panicked. Stress and anxiety had taken over me. I felt that life was too harsh on me for not giving me a break. I would stare at nothingness trying to find that thread of hope that things will get better. Then I cried out of frustrations. I felt it was never ending. I become overly dramatic. 😂

I know my loads are not heavier than others. I know people who suffered more than what I experienced for me to complain about little stones that life threw at me.

And when that storm of my life passed, I had these realizations...

I complained more about life than I was thinking how to get thrpugh it. I complained why I had to go through this alone since the husband was away? Why am I the only one suffering the most? Why at this time when I have so much on my plate already?... and all other whys. Complaining instead of thinking clouded my mind and caused me more stress. Focussing on the negative aspect will only attract more negativities. When I complained, it felt heavier to deal with the situation.

I focused more on the negative aspect of the situation. Instead of dealing with the situation head on and with positive attitude,I keep letting in negativities on my mind. It leads me to overthinking and frustrations. My negative attitude drained my energy and motivation. I was a little lost of the moment. And it was the scary part.

What have I learned from this experience?

Keep a positive attitude in dealing with life's difficult circumstances. No matter how difficult the situation is, keeping a positive outlook will make the burden feel lighter.

Kapit lang! (keep holding on). This too shall pass. Keep in mind that the only constant is change. Tomorrow is another day. After the heavy rains, the sun will come out more brightly. Look forward to that day and just do what you can do. Take actions and trust the process.

Stop complaining. Instead, gather all you strength and to get through the day.

Get support from people wh truly care. You cannot do it all. Seek help and support. There are more than willing to give a helping hand and give support.

“Life is a circle of happiness, sadness, hard times, and good times. If you are going through hard times, have faith that good times are on the way.” – Unknow
