Hello hive friends. Hello everyone...have a nice day to you all where ever part of the world you are right now..
This morning, while I was sitting on our balcony, I noticed that the grass in the vacant lot across from our house had grown long. I also noticed many grasshoppers jumping around the leaves and flowers. I immediately thought of taking pictures of insects again, so I quickly grabbed my camera and approached them to take photos. However, as I got closer, they suddenly vanished they must have gotten scared when I walked over. I waited for a few minutes in hopes that they might return, but not a single one came back
Fortunately, I saw a red dragonfly that didn't seem scared of me at all, because as I approached, it didn't fly away even when I got extremely close to it.

It has been a while since I last took photos of insects like this dragonfly, but what I really wanted to capture were the grasshoppers.
I moved a little bit closer because I thought it wouldn't fly away. It did fly, but it returned right back to where it was perched on the grass, so I quickly snapped another photo before it could fly away again.

Luckily, I was able to take a few photos before it flew away.
