I like the sun! We should all like it only if we think that it is an important factor that we are alive, that we exist. Of course, there are a lot of other factors that contribute to the existence of life on earth, probably each has its favorite.
The sun - the eye of day!
The sun inspired both admiration and fear from people. In ancient times it was revered as a God of many peoples and tribes.
I'm overwhelmed by the size of his strength, it's enough to "sneeze" and ... goodbye to human adventure.
I am fascinated by the contradictory components of the action of the sun.
The heat released by it that ensures our life but in the same power that it has to kill us.
The clear light that allows us to see but also the fact that the same light can blind us!
These personal considerations about the sun, quite dull, I made because this post is for #SunThursday, the contest to which @uwelang invites us. Although almost all participants consider this a photography contest exclusive, I don't think it's just that. I think
@uwelng thought of giving us the opportunity to state our opinion about the sun in several ways. One is to tell our opinion and say whether we like it or not.
At this point, as I write this post, I still don't know if the fifth edition of the contest is open or not. It doesn't matter to me. Below will be my photos in which I will show a shy sun!
I like the shy sun (as I like shy people), the hidden sun, barely visible among the leaves of the trees or the light it leaves on everything around us.
This approach to the sun greatly expands the subject of the photographs I can show. I don't know if it still fits into the philosophy of the contest, but I think it's right, if I'm wrong I'll be penalized, right?
All the photos that will follow were taken in the gardens of the Mogosoaia Palace near Bucharest. A help for those who may not know where this city is. In Romania! It's the capital of the country.
This is my shy sun, it is shy to enter our eyes directly! Can anyone say that there is no sun in these images?
Sometimes it appears among the leaves of the trees, being careful not to blind us ...
We better not look, it's healthier!
Now it's time to see what the sun looks like in music. I know that @uwelang loves music, and I like it a lot and I hope that you too.
A classic by Elton John in an interpretation that I have now found and I am listening to for the first time... Roger Daltrey! A very beautiful video.
Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - Roger Daltrey
Because I said that these photos were taken in the gardens of Mogosoaia Palace, I will show you a few more. All in honor of the sun, the shy sun that does not show itself but is there. Because where there is shade there is also sun!
I said Mogosoaia Palace. Let's see it...
What I like most is the shy and gentle sun. Like the one who strokes my niece's legs, Ilinca.
The end is a flower, a shy flower too, #alwaysaflower, how good it would be if "the end" were like a flower!
Well, I don't know if the contest will be or if I posted too early or too late. I enjoyed it, this is the most important thing for me.
