Another sunny Thursday this summer more than hot. "Guilty" of all this is obviously the sun above our heads.
Our friend
It happens every Thursday, in fact now every two weeks. To participate, find here all the necessary information as well as the latest edition with the winners... Sun Thursday - Winners Contest Edition 3
The next edition (4) will start on August 13!
Until then, I'm training. I also post this Thursday, which doesn't matter for the contest. In fact, not only the prize matters, first of all the pleasure matters!
So far I have run after the sun in the most remote places, especially on vacation. Today I will look for the sun in my house and in my yard.
Because I live in the city, I can't see the sunrise. I can only guess when the first rays of sunshine enter the room. That's how I know it's sunny, a new sunny day. I look out of another window at the place where I know the sun is rising.
I built a curtain of trees around my little yard to protect me from the noise and dust of the street. In the street I planted bamboo, an acacia and a silk tree. I only have birches in the yard. They also protect me from the heat of the summer sun.
Among their leaves I sometimes see the sun.
I like so much the sun's rays that indirectly illuminate the garden, the trees and the flowers. Like I said, birches, but I forgot to mention the Japanese maple ...
... as well as my little Ginkgo Biloba tree
Now a little musical intermezzo. I made a connection between birches and this song. The song means young birch forest. The formation is called Bukovina. Bukovina is a region in northeastern Romania, a beautiful hill-mountain region and many large forests (Bukovina means Beech Country). In the video are images from Bukovina.
The song is in Romanian, you will not understand the text but I hope you like it.
The song has nothing to do with the sun, I go back to the photos and my little yard.
Some flowers caressed by the sun's rays. I'm glad they match
