When I was a much younger "fella" I had many roadsters. Inexpensive widely available and easy to maintain and cheap to run as well acquired the fix yourself skills: Healey Sprites, MGB-GT, and my fondest by my 1963 Healey 3000. My wife's first new car was a MGB rag top-roadster. I would not have a brand new vehicle until well into the mid-to-late 80's (Yankee thriftiness). So mid-life threshold, good-bye SUVs (Jeeps): I want a roadster...and will...until I pass. This design (Z4) of the Z family is my all-time favorite - don't much like what came before or after. (M-Zs' would be the exception).
January 2005 - I chose you (the consultants' discount / BMW Dealer a client - don't pay retail) 2.5i Sports package
January 2009 / New Coil Overs, lowered, wide track rear, M|sports features / 3.0si engine/power-train added - Dyno tuned Jackal Motorsports ; and a new indy BMW tech/mechanic discovered (5 stars). BMW stealer-dealer no more.
