When I saw Amazon Nature rising in popularity and winrate, I knew I had to give it a try, since I forged some meta Amazon cards, like Canopy Sniper and Landcaller Captain, until Shadow Quality. This deck was played by me 3 times, but I had a really good time with this deck. It uses good Nature cards from Tower of Dread and Dread Awakening, and also uses some unique cards.

New Amazon Cards

Most of the cards that is in this deck was commonly used until Tides of Fate. I will be focusing on cards from the newer sets, since they were additionally added.

Zaheer, Endless Bloom

This card may seem like bad at first glance, since after you play this card, it will keep summoning if you play creatures. That might be bad for Control/Midrange decks, but in cases like Amazons, where the goal is to rush down your opponent, it does not matter since if you are not able to kill your opponent around until 7 mana, you do not have high chances of winning.

However, Zaheer was only available through burning cards, and it is really expensive now to buy($17), so I use Lootrush to rent it for around 0.08$ per day. (Note: the price fluctuates a lot from 0.02$ to even 0.1$!)

Blackbriar Whip

Blackbriar Whip became Amazon's go-to relic, which was previously Faeflame. Costing 3 mana, it has 2 attack and 2 durability, with Godblitz! This allows Amazons to clutch their games when they need 1~2 extra damage. Also, after it attacks, it summons a 1/1 Amazon Recruit. Although it is very small body, summoning Amazons means that you can use Ally effects better. It is also very cheap! (0.2$)

Bristling Pixie

Bristling Pixie is a much smaller version of Fae Thornblade, which is 2/4 and deals 1 damage that you can select with Ally effect. However, Bristling Pixie is 1/2, and deals 1 damage to a random enemy. But, it summons another when played. This means that it deals a total of 2 damage! Unfortunately, 2 damage means that it is 99% going to be removed next turn, but it also means that your other units are going to be saved, if they did not use AoE.

(Bonus) Narcilla, The Huntress

Narcilla is also rising as must-include card in Amazon. It costs 4 Mana, which is expensive in Aggro, and does 1 damage with its roar. However, if it destroys the target exactly, it deals damage again, increasing the damage by 1. This means that if your opponent has a board with 1, 2, 3 health units, this can destroy the target + deal 4 face damage! Situations like this does not happen, though, and usually it is used to remove 1, 2 or 1, 2, 2.

Also, the Roar states that it is deal 1 damage, which means that you can damage your own units to increase the damage count! For example, if you have a 1 HP unit, and opponent has 2, 3, 3, you can use Narcilla to clear the board by starting from your own unit.

Battle

This is a fast-paced battle against also Nature.

Mulligan / 1 Mana

I choose Selena's Mark, and choose my hand. They play Barksworn Hunter. Nimble Pixie is good with other Ally units, but I do not have any other 1 mana units so I play it.

2 Mana

They play Barksworn Protector and trades. This is a very awkward situation, but I play Riverjumper Captain and trades the 1/1.

3 Mana

They play GP. I use Canopy Sniper and GP to clear the board.

4 Mana

They use lash out and takes out Canopy Sniper and ward from Riverjumper. I decide to play Fae Thornblade instead of Zaheer, since Zaheer is actually not Wild and I have Mytro next.

5 Mana

They play Abyss Watcher. Mytro and Primal Guidance clears the Frontline, while giving buff. I go face.

5.5 Mana

They have a slow turn, using GP and Path of Nature. I use Blackbriar Whip for extra face damage and also to get Encumbered Looter from the Sanctum.

6 Mana

They go with Winter's Bounty to heal. I play another Fae Thornblade, trade and also play Zaheer. They resign here. GG!

Conclusion

Amazon deck is currently a viable Aggro deck, apart from Zoo War which was always sitting in a nice position. It can be more harder to play than Zoo War, but it is not the hardest deck like Mayday. Apart from those new Legendary cards, the others are mostly Core cards so it is easier to shine up, which is another benefit of this deck. Thanks for reading!
