Planning My 2024 Garden!

At the end of each year, I look back, at my plans, harvests, and saved food, from last year, and before. I review what I planned, what worked, what failed, and what I want to try that's different, or new!

Right now, as I look out over the garden, this is the view I see:

I am not entirely sure, that's ideal Gardening Weather
During the dead of winter, I take time to inventory my seeds, decide what I want for this year, and order them in. Same with my seed starting supplies: more peat moss, more seed starter, more trays, replace/renew/refresh the lighting.

Most of you know, I prefer to grow my own food, locally. It's healthier for my family, and for the planet. I know what goes into my foods, and what chemicals are NOT in my food. Also, It cuts down on carbon emissions, less trucking, planes, trains, and boats, to get fresh foods to my table.

And that makes me smile... better for the planet, better for my own family.
