ABOVE,I planted 8 Tomato plants, and 2 Cucumbers, on the Cape.
Of the 8 tomato, Only 6 remain. On the far right, directly UNDER the bird feeder, the plant snapped fairly soon after the feeder became active. It seems, the seeds fall, and then, the pot was visited OFTEN by Red Squirrels, Tiny Chipmunks, and bigger Grey Squirrels. Someone sat and squished the plant. As a by-product of the feeder, I am now growing something unknown! The thistle seeds fall, and it seems SOME of them have reseeded and started to grow. Check out the RIGHTMOST grow bag.
Above: I tied off the left 4 tomato, and added some stakes. From left, White Cherry, Yellow Pear, Blueberry and Sweetie Tomato.
Below: In the center, in one bag. is a Spacemaster 80 and a Muncher Cucumber plant. To the right, Tigerella Tomato (Yellow/red striped) and Jubilee Tomato (Small Bright Orange sweet tomato)
Above: I planted some Butter Crunch lettuce about 10 days apart. Both are beginning to grow!
Rosemary, thyme, Sage and Oregano, in the Herb Garden. MOre Basil is growing in the Tomato Planting Containers
Flowers are soimply not my strong suit... however, the old owners planted many, so, I am tending and trying to learn. I recognize Rose Campion, and a few others. Also, picnic table. That one I know, too.
As I get more comfortable, I will start to ID the flowers and move some, remove some, and replant some. More to come, on the Cape Cod, GroVid22 Garden, as it happens!
