In this article, I will lay out what my experience with Splinterlands has been. Included will be how much money I have put into the game and what my current account value is. Spoiler alert: There is a nice positive return thus far. For reference, I started in late October just on the tail end of the big boom for splinterlands card value. You may say this is good luck but I believe I would still be in the green even if I joined a month or so before october.

When calculating the above data, my investment has yielded a 124% return. Not too bad for six months of playing a game. One thing to add for context on this is that the HIVE included has been earned doing splinterlands content. That is why it is included. If we take that away, there is obviously less of a return, however, I would not have been introduced to HIVE without Splinterlands. Any HBD earned has been reinvested into the game as well which has also allowed me to double down on my return.
I hope this shows that being invested in this game even in a down market can be quite lucrative and bodes well for the future of my investment I believe. Everything is about as low as it can be in terms of card value, pack value, and SPS/DEC in my opinion. With the likelihood of these assets increasing in value over the next few years, I think my investment will be very well rewarded.
