These watercolor pieces are part of an ongoing series I’ve been working on.
They represent so much more to me than just shapes on paper.
I’ve always been deeply drawn to circular forms. In art, and in life, the circle is the ultimate symbol of eternity, wholeness, and continuity.

For me, these circular strokes are a direct reflection of the cycles of nature.
Think about it: the changing of the seasons, the rising and setting of the sun, the ebb and flow of the ocean tides.
Everything in our universe moves in circles. Nothing is ever truly a straight line.

These works also carry a deep connection to Eastern philosophy.
The circular, continuous flow is heavily inspired by Taoism and the Yin-Yang concept, the idea that light and dark, chaos and order, are in a constant, harmonious dance.
Furthermore, the meditative, centered nature of these pieces echoes the concept of a Mandala, a spiritual symbol representing the universe and the journey back to the self.

The beauty of watercolor is that it has a mind of its own.
It flows, bleeds, and dries in ways we can't always control.
Just like nature, it demands surrender.
The unexpected splatters and droplets around the main circles symbolize the chaos and the beautiful imperfections that exist within the perfect order of the universe.

Looking at these pieces feels like taking a deep breath.
They remind me that life isn't just about moving forward; it's about coming back to ourselves, going through phases, and embracing the natural rhythm of existence.
