How boring, despite all records, the US stock markets became, of course, in comparison with the crazy growth of bitcoin, which in December alone gained more than 90 percent!

The start of trading on futures whit Bitcoin last Sunday (where speculators can bet also on fall in price for Bitcoin or so called shorting) has been favourable to the most important and biggest cryptocurrency. 

On Bitstamp the price for 1 bitcoin is for more than 19 thousand dollars. 

Exchanges have huge problems, because of enormous increase of new customers. The registration process can take several weeks, trading is much more difficult, but the exchange offices are aware of the problems and predict upgrades.

British market regulators : "Be ready for the worst"

British market regulators warned investors in the bitcoin that the value of the hot crypto can collapse to zero dollars: "If you want to invest in bitcoin, be prepared for the loss of the entire investment." 

They emphasize that there is no government or central bank behind in the background, which could save investors, and the risk that investors in cryptocurrencies take was compared with the risk in casino. 

At the Swiss bank, UBS they have opinion that the poker bitcoin bubble will be destructive in the long run if more and more people are investing money in bitcoin.

Growth will not stop overnight

The question they are all asking is whether the bitcoin, which jumped by more than 90 percent in December, will continue to grow (and also the remaining cryptos). 

"The demand will be very high on the market. Very, very high in 2018, and it is likely that growth will not stop overnight. But there are quite a few people who have many bitcoins from the early years and can at some point decide to leave this ecosystem , which will increase the offer and the price can quickly swing down. This can also cause panic, "Jure Pirc of the Bitcoin Society of Slovenia said in an interview.

My 2 cent opinion is that bitcoin will rise in 2018.
