I don't think it's feasible to compute the answers to something that's so deeply tied to human behavior, I think the only way to figure it out is to conduct real world experiments. But at this point, my best guess is that we won't see such experiments until we have something like SMTs, where there's no pre-established expectations about how the rewards function.
