After reading Part 1 of My Book of Bible Stories I have read some interesting stories in chronological order. Some of the people in the stories I will go into deeper details about with once I gather more research on them. I will not do that when talking about them regarding this book. My goal is to stay neutral and share the information as it was written. I will give my personal opinions when I talk about the person individually.
I wanted to take the time to share this book with people who are interested. This book was the book that taught me how to read. I read this book every day at the same time with my mother and siblings as a kid. I would also go on to continue reading because the stories were very interesting and always taught a valuable lesson.
Part 1 talked about some of the people who lived before The Great Flood. Part 2 talks about after The Great Flood up until the Deliverance from Egypt.
These stories are considered true stories and are taken from the Bible. There is 116 stories in My Book of Bible Stories
The Flood to the Deliverance from Egypt
Life after the flood will share stories about many different people from the Bible. Abraham, Issac, Jacob and Joseph. It talks about the Israelites and their captivity in Egypt.
God Tests Abraham’s Faith
Abraham faith in God was undeniable! He never doubted the signs and dreams that he received. God blessed Sarah and Abraham with a son at a time when Sarah could not have kids. The birth of their son was a miracle and sign from God.
At one point in time Abraham was about to sacrifice his son Issac to God. He was to take Issac to a mountain and offer him up as sacrifice on the word of God. Abraham tied Issac up and put him on the altar. He did not lose faith in God even when he was to give his only son. Instead God caused a sheep to be sacrificed instead of Issac.
