WEEK 6 • OCTOBER 18, 2026
13 – 10
FINAL • Huntington Bank Field
The Cleveland Browns overcame a 10-point deficit to defeat the Baltimore Ravens 13–10 in a dramatic AFC North showdown. Cleveland improved to 4–2 and moved into first place in the division following its fourth fourth-quarter comeback victory of the season.
The five biggest takeaways
1. Cleveland's defense won this game.
Baltimore scored 10 points on its first two possessions, but the Browns shut the Ravens out for the remaining three quarters. Linebacker Carson Schwesinger delivered the game-changing forced fumble against Derrick Henry, recovered by Tyson Campbell. Henry finished with just 58 rushing yards on 17 attempts.
2. Andre Szmyt delivered when it mattered most.
After missing a 48-yard attempt in the fourth quarter that ended his streak of 25 consecutive made field goals, Szmyt recovered to drill the game-winning 37-yard kick as time expired. His performance demonstrated the importance of mental resilience in close divisional games.
3. Deshaun Watson and Jerry Jeudy delivered the decisive play.
Watson struggled throughout much of the contest but completed 16 of 26 passes for 164 yards. His critical 33-yard completion to Jeudy on third-and-5 put Cleveland in position for the winning field goal. Jeudy finished with four catches for 69 yards.
4. The offense remains Cleveland's biggest concern.
The Browns generated only 46 yards in the first half and were held scoreless before halftime. Cleveland finished with 237 total yards, converted just 5 of 16 third-down opportunities, and surrendered five sacks. The comeback was impressive, but the offense must improve its consistency to sustain success.
5. Audric Estimé made an immediate impact.
Signed from Minnesota's practice squad earlier in the week, Estimé scored Cleveland's only touchdown on a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter. His touchdown tied the game at 10–10 and completed the scoring opportunity created by Schwesinger's forced fumble. It was a timely contribution with starting running back Quinshon Judkins sidelined by an ankle injury.
Final assessment
Cleveland won through defensive adjustments, a crucial turnover, and late-game execution—not offensive dominance. The Browns showed they can win close games against divisional opponents, but better quarterback protection and more consistent first-half production will be essential.
