Greetings lovely members of Hive.
The newbies initiative is going well as expected, we just finished our first task, and we have been given a new one. I want to thank the team of this initiative for doing a great job, special thanks to @starstrings01 for masterminding the second task.
For this task we would require the newbies to answer the following questions using the markdowns they have learnt from the video above.
How has been your experience with Hive since you joined?
What are your thoughts on plagiarism and vote begging?
What are your thoughts on post recycling?
How helpful has this post been to you in understanding Markdowns?
MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR
Ever since I joined Hive there has been a great change in my life, I never knew someone could come up with such a great platform like this, Hive has made me to be so creative, at first I thought Hive was not for me, it was not easy I was not used to creating content everyday, but with my persistence I started to discover another version of me which I would have not know if not for Hive. In every platform there things you need to follow before you succeed, I thought Hive is where you drop your content and come back later expecting to see rewards, but things does not turn out that ways, so I had to seek diligent about how to succeed in this thriving platform, I found out that engagement is the key, it was not all about making quality post and getting rewarded, then why is it a social media when you can't interact with other members and have fun, since I discovered this secret I must say it has been a great journey so far, I'm enjoying my experience.
MY THOUGHT ABOUT PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism is an act of taking some else's work or post and putting it as your own. This is another form of stealing, because you are taking what belongs to another person without his permission or giving credit to the author or person. If you must use another person's work you must make it clear that you are not the author by giving credits to the owner and providing the right source of the original content.
Plagiarism is forbidden in Hive and falling a victim may lead to so many punishment and penalty such as downnvoting, blacklisting and ban of account.
VOTE BEGGING
Most people think Hive is like other platform where you beg for subscribers, upvote and much more, in Hive you effort speaks for you, begging people to upvote your post is very bad and it is not encouraged in Hive communities, you might be muted in some communities if you beg for vote. Try to engage on the post of others and put effort in creating a good post then there will be no need for vote begging.
POST RECYCLING
Recycling of post is not also encouraged in Hive, you have to be creative because only unique contents are welcomed here, I kyonw it is difficult sometimes to make a post, but recycling of post is not the right option instead try as much to come up with new ideas or don't post at all till when you can make another unique post. Hive does not encourage laziness so you have to be active in order to be successful here.
MARKDOWNS
When I first came into Hive and started reading post I saw the way some of the authors make their post and it was confusing, I was wondering how they discovered this markdowns and how to use it, I wanted to learn but could not find anyone to teach me then, but thanks to this initiative and the post made by @mistural about how to use markdowns in making your post beautiful, this knowledge has really improved the quality of my post and there no issues in choosing the right markdowns to use.
Once again thanks to the team for giving us this opportunity to learn everything pertaining to Hive and how to succeed, to all the newbie's I love you all, you guys are really putting effort also learn, we will thrive together.
