What is Love?
Love is a strong affection you have towards someone or someone having towards you. Sometimes love is wanting to do things for someone that feel like obligations when you're asked to do them for someone else. The Bible says "love your neighbor as yourself" (Matt 22:39). For sometime I sat down and reasoned it, the commandment we were given, God's commandment "love your neighbor as yourself" what does it entails.

Love Yourself
Love is the greatest commandment, true and genuine love is like a rock because it last forever. Many people nowadays love because of benefits they tend to derive and also for them to please humans whereas true love does not count on benefits. Well we tend to read the first part of the verse and abandoned the second. Let's check the word "as yourself" applying logic to this, it means you can't genuinely love your neighbor when you can't love yourself.

Love begins with you(yourself), you should also know that you should give yourself the love and care you needed and deserve, so that you can dish such to others to.

Spend time to with yourself, take care of your do that you can take care of others. Fix yourself so that you can fix others and most importantly love yourself so that you can love others. You can't truly love others with strength and heart and then expect you love yourself. It's not possible you can't give genuine love when you don't have it in you.
