I guess as long as this bad boy keeps on chugging along, I’ll keep posting an update. Much to my surprise, my Veve McFarlane Batman NFT’s seem to be performing well. While the entire crypto market seems to be shitting itself, Veve assets and my main and truthfully only focus of McBats, seem to be persevering.
Just to recap, 30 days ago I wrote here about the McBats, and how they were creeping up to around the $3k mark. I was thrilled at the thought of this, as I only paid $80 bucks a piece for each of my 3 back around March of 21, so to see your $240 dollar investment rocket upwards to $9000…let’s just say it’s fairly yummy.
Then just 7 days ago, I popped up a follow up piece where I showed just how well they had performed since my previous post just 23 days earlier. The floor was now just under $6000…$5800 to be exact. Holy crap!!!!
Well today I am happy to report that these assets keep shocking me. I figured that in the climate that crypto is in as a whole at the moment, these surely would correct a bit…but it seems to have to opposite affect over at Veve.
That’s right…$8000 beans! That is now the floor on the McBat’s. I’ve been checking out a few other pieces and they ALL seem to be surging at a time where most of my other assets are bleeding out. I’m not complaining…quite the opposite actually. But I wonder if it’s because folks have their gems tied up in the platform and just keep spending?!? I don’t know the answer but that might be a reason. Right?
Ya see, Veve has their own marketplace that is currently closed off to the rest of the world. You can’t remove your assets or the funds from it currently which to me is an absolute turnoff and one of the main reasons I kinda walked away. They have been promising that it’s coming since I purchased those back almost a year ago, but still nada. I can’t help but think that folks are sitting on a ton of gems stuck there, and are just spending like crazy while the rest of the markets try to stabilize. Who knows?!?
What I do know is that it is fun to watch this grow…even if I’m not sure why it’s happening. Not that I’m selling them now (as I cannot currently remove the funds), but it’s a blast seeing a $240 dollar investment in March balloon up to $24,000 bucks at present time.
See ya next week on the Adventures of McBats!!!
