First off, I want to say that I’m not bitching for the sake of bitching. I appreciate all the hard work that goes into keeping this corner of our world running on a day to day basis. I know nothing of coding and what it entails and I can’t even imagine the stress the witnesses are under to try to get things back to some normalcy for all here.
With that being said...I’m going to drop a personal Holy Fuuuuuuuck!!!!!!!!
A friend that I’ve dragged on here ages ago by the name of 
The few friends in the industry I did manage to drag on who have been toughing it out have been sending me messages daily...wondering why things aren’t working. Why they are getting error messages. Wondering why when they follow the link to that lone tweet, that nothing else is said, mentioned, or elaborated on.
As I mentioned before, I’m not trying to sound ungrateful or like an asshole at all...but there HAS to be better communication. It’s absurd that we basically have a “yeah it’s broken” message, and not one other peep. Just deafening radio silence. I’m telling you firsthand from the messages I’ve received from my friends alone, that is not good at all.
If we as users have to learn how to adapt and evolve after HF21, then so does Steemit Inc and the rest of the gang. Just some simple updates along the way would suffice for those who are just casual users and aren’t on Discord or aren’t plugged in with friends in the know. Because the little confidence some of my friends had before this has greatly diminished this week.
Ontop of that, yesterday was THE PERFECT opportunity to capitalize on Facebook fucking up. A gentleman who runs a well respected comic spec group on FB with thousands of members (used to be on Google Plus), just had his account deleted. Not exactly sure of the how’s and why’s, but he’s truly pissed at FB currently and understandably so. He lost photos, memories, personal chats, and so much more.
I contemplated for a sec in reaching out and once again trying to showcase the benefits of this place. Use the unfortunate example of his account termination and how that wouldn’t and couldn’t happen here. But I’m not putting myself out there again when everything is working half assed and buggy. Not a shining example to use to try and recruit someone who could help grow the comic community. Now once again, this is nobody’s fault...just bad fuckin timing.
Anyway, this is kinda just a venting session as for the past year and a half l have been really trying to build the comic and nerd community. Anyone here who has been silly enough to follow my drivel can attest to that. Just when I make some progress and potential progress...it comes to a halt. Kinda the story of my life...
Anyway, if you get a chance...throw my Reborn Steemian a little love and/or encouragement with comments on her most recent piece please. It would be appreciated while she secretly contemplates just how much of an idiot I am that I’ve spent the past 4 months pestering her to get back to it..only to have it fall back to shit the moment she commits.
