One of the super cool aspects of staking and just simply adding where I can and when I can, is the ability to watch it blossom into something else entirely. It’s one of my favorite aspects of crypto and Splinterlands makes it super easy to watch your baby grow with their easy SPS interface. With that….
Today marked a pretty cool day for me in the world of Splinterlands as I hit 2 pretty cool milestones. These are nowhere near my end goals, but it’s nice to see progress happening right before my eyes.
First up, we have this badass number which I realize is nowhere near enough!!! 😂
In my stupid head, I look at it and go, “yeah…that’s a strong position”…which it absolutely is! I mean, as of right this moment it lands me back in the “gross & icky poor people section” of the Staked SPS Top 200 Richlist, currently sitting at number 191. Woohoo!
I’m going to keep adding to my bags and I hope to have over 300k staked by the time the airdrop ends. That’s also with me using a little bit here and there to purchase packs. I know…I know…I would rather not, but I had to make a deal with myself in order to get to this point. It is what it is. Still, SPS pack purchases aside…I’m still hoping to be over 300k by the time the airdrop ends which should be cake to make happen.
The other accomplishment is hitting a whopping 75 Plots. My end goal is to get to 101 by the time they are revealed. Not sure that’s going to happen but I’m going to try like hell to make it a reality as this is one of the aspects I’m most excited about at the moment. If the team can nail Lands like I believe they will, these will hopefully be able to provide a little steady stream of revenue coming in.
For now though, I’m happy to be 29th on the Plots Richlist…still a pauper to those brilliant souls holding Tracts & Regions, but still enough to help change the course of the future for me.
With all the specifics still to be worked out by the wizards behind the curtain, it’s all guesswork. But I’m hoping it’ll be enough of an impact to where I can reinvest around 2/3 of the production to keep it all growing while I take the earnings from the other third each month, and use those funds for a variety of things like…
Leveling up Cards & Strengthening my deck
Stacking more Hive, Btc, and a couple of other tokens
Loading up my Crypto.com card to use in everyday purchases
Those might seem like large goals, and maybe I’m psyching up myself a bit too much, but if Plots are putting out .50 cents a day or $10 bucks…I am going to try to stick to some sort of regiment once it’s all sorted and ready for action.
My Hive Power is an area I definitely want to pour some more love into when this all gets into gear. In the almost 4 years I’ve been here, I’ve never taken a single token out. I’ve only powered up…until about a month and change ago when I started taking a tiny bit to chip away at some plots so I can reach my goal on that. Hoping that the plots will pay back that “loan” in 2022, as I want to get back to making a difference for some others with my curation and stake.
