One day, I visited my cousin at his workplace, where he worked as a veterinary doctor. I met a woman who brought some puppies for treatment. I was not fond of dogs before then, but these puppies truly amazed me with their exquisite nature, beauty, and colors. Then I said to him, "How I wish I could have some of these puppies." My cousin replied, "The owner wants to sell them." I asked my cousin if the owner was the woman who brought the puppies, and he confirmed it.
I walked over to the woman, who was sitting in the reception room, and said, "Ma'am, I adore your puppies and would love to buy some." The woman replied, "I will not be around to take care of them. I need someone to care for all of them as I will be traveling to Denmark." I said, "I only need three of them," and she agreed. I then approached my cousin and asked him to select three more healthy puppies. He questioned, "Blessing, you were not fond of dogs. Can you take care of them?" I replied, "Cousin, I have fallen in love with these dogs. Please give me a book guide for dog care. I also want to give one to my friend as their desired pet." My cousin smiled and was amused by my newfound interest in dogs, considering that I was not fond of them before.
Enthusiastically, he went to a shelf that was hanging on the wall of his office and retrieved a booklet. He handed it to me while gazing at me and asked, "Blessing, do you truly mean what you are saying?" I replied, "Joseph, I cannot let go of these dogs, no matter the cost." Then, I signaled the woman, and together we went to where the puppies were. We selected my three favorite ones. I said, "Ma'am, name your price." After a short negotiation, she provided me with her account number, and I paid the money into her account. Additionally, I asked my cousin to give me their food.
My cousin placed the puppies in a plastic basket, and I put it on the passenger seat. Then, I drove off, occasionally peering through the openings of the basket. I noticed that one of the puppies was very calm but still healthy, while the other two were lively, active, and somewhat stubborn, even within the confined space of the basket. I observed their natural characteristics. Later, when I arrived at my house, I placed them on my balcony and watched as they played. I could see that the two others were aggressive, highly active, and constantly licked the ground with their tongues. However, the quiet one seemed less serious but playful, following me around. Eventually, I gave one of them to my friend.
As they grew up, I noticed that the quiet one was very friendly, trustworthy, docile, patient,calm understanding and not aggressive towards strangers. On the other hand, the other one was hostile towards strangers and posed a potential danger. Consequently, I decided to keep it in a metal cage and only release it at night, while I kept the friendly one freely roaming in the house. I even noticed that the affectionate one seemed empathetic. This was evident on a particular occasion when I was walking towards my car, missed a step, and fell. It immediately rushed to my husband, tugging at his trousers, urging him to come to my aid. When my husband arrived, I said, "Honey, I fell on the ground." He replied, "No wonder,I felt that some thing was wrong".Also my friend's dog was hustle and agresive,she only released it in the night.Moreover, Two of the dogs were agresive and hustle towards others and were significantly different from calm and friendly one.
